The Model 8940 Series GeoNet Dataloggers offer high-value, localized data collection options for all GEOKON vibrating wire instruments and addressable sensor strings¹. The Model 8940 Series are available in five options, including single-, 4- and 8-channel dataloggers, addressable, and as a self-contained Tilt Logger for attachment to structures to measure any tilting that may occur.
GEOKON sensors are connected to the 8940 Series through cable glands or a 10-pin bulkhead connector. Sensor data is collected on site and downloaded to a host PC by direct connection to the datalogger. The freely availble GEOKON Agent Software is used for datalogger configuration, communication, monitoring, data collection and data reduction.
The capacity of Model 8940 Series Multi-Channel and Addressable Dataloggers can be expanded using the Model 8960 Series Digital Vibrating Wire Interfaces, and Solar Panels of various wattages are available.
Waterproof single- and 4-channel GeoNet dataloggers, housed inside rugged PVC enclosures, are also available.
¹Addressable MEMS, VW and Thermistor strings.
