The Casagrande Piezometer Tip is used with the Solinst Model 101 Water Level Meter to monitor subsurface water levels. The piezometer tip, attached to PVC riser pipe, is placed in a sand zone then sealed to the surface with a bentonite grout. The Water Level Meter is accessed through the end of the riser pipe at the top of the borehole. A PVC adapter is used to attach the piezometer tip to flush-coupled PVC riser pipe.
