Brian Brown is GEOKON’s Technical Services Manager, a role in which he assists both customers and GEOKON staff with issues involving installations, data analysis, and training for a broad range of products and applications. He also handles many day-to-day sales-related duties and has made numerous field service trips on GEOKON’s behalf.
A registered professional Engineer, Brian joined GEOKON in late 1995 and maintains a full plate of activities by drawing from an impressive spectrum of Civil Engineering experiences, including underground and open pit mines, tunnels, various dams and other large structures, landslides, pile testing, foundation testing, pipeline monitoring, and landfills. His GEOKON duties have taken him to several South American countries, Botswana, South Africa, Mexico, Canada, and Germany. Prior to GEOKON, Brian worked in Sri Lanka for two years on an irrigation and hydroelectric dam project, supervising fill material testing practices and other construction duties.
Brian appreciates working with the GEOKON staff and dealing with the unexpected customer-related challenges that are certain to appear at a moment’s notice. It is the variety of work that appeals to Brian, where no two days at GEOKON are ever the same.
When he is not helping clients here or at a remote project site, Brian is still GEOKON’s man on the go, riding both mountain and road bicycles and competing in local half-marathons and sprint triathalons. He is also a certified high school and college (NCAA) soccer referee.
Brian and his wife Bridget live near Lebanon, NH. Brian is an important asset to the GEOKON organization and we are fortunate to have someone with his level of experience and dedication on the team.
